Job summary

Rolls-Royce is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for large parts in Aiken, SC. You will operate HELLER CNC centers with Siemens 840D controls, study blueprints, and set up tools for precision machining. This off-shift role runs Mon-Thu 7:30pm–6am with overtime on Fridays, and relocation assistance is offered if applicable.

The position requires 2 years of machining training or 3 years of heavy machining experience, familiarity with SPC, and ability to read blueprints. U.S.

Qualifications

• 2 years in mechanical/maintenance or machining trade school or 3 years heavy machining experience.
• Knowledge of CNC controls, preferably Siemens 840D.
• Ability to interpret SPC and read blueprints.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC HELLER machining centers with Siemens 840 D controllers per instructions and routings.
• Study drawings, job orders and control plans to determine specs and toolings.
• Select tools and materials for cubic engine components.
• Set up and operate basic and advanced machine tools for precision machining.
• Check precision instruments and adjust per quality plans.
• Fine-tune tools/equipment and optimize CNC program for durability and sequencing.
