Job summary

SMS group GmbH seeks a Lathe Operator for the night shift in Taylor, MI. You will set up and operate engine lathes and related tooling to produce rolls and components meeting QA standards.

You will also handle a horizontal boring mill and run CNC programs on Fanuc/Mazatrol controllers, ensuring precision and adherence to blueprints and tolerances. High school diploma and 2–5 years CNC Lathe experience required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years CNC Lathe experience.
• Certification in Fanuc/Mazatrol controllers preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate engine lathe and accessories to meet QA requirements.
