Job summary

Accelera is seeking a skilled CNC EDM Machinist to join our Michigan team. You will set up and operate CNC EDM machinery, assist with grinding tasks, and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained to deliver high-quality parts.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, loading programs, adjusting offsets, selecting tooling, and performing ongoing measurement tasks. You will work nights or weekend shifts per schedule and collaborate with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining with EDM preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Capability to work autonomously while coordinating with engineering and production.

Responsibilities

• Configure and run CNC EDM production equipment.
• Analyze blueprints, guidelines, and quality standards.
• Load programs, adjust offsets, select tooling, and measure outputs.
• Identify machining issues and maintain a safe, orderly workspace.
• Assist with grinding and perform routine equipment maintenance and tool changes.
