Job summary

Desert View Care Center in Buhl, ID is seeking compassionate CNAs for the Night shift (10 PM–6 AM). We offer on-the-job training, support to obtain certification, and tuition reimbursement up to $500/month for approved nursing programs.

Responsibilities include answering call lights, turning and repositioning residents, assisting with daily living activities, checking dietary needs, and recording intake. We provide 401(k) with company match, health/dental/vision insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days.
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents.
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed.
• Provide physical support for daily living activities (getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, bathroom, standing, walking, exercising).
• Review dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to ensure appropriate diet.
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and build relationships with residents.
