Job summary

Desert View Care Center in Buhl, Idaho, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the evening shift (2pm-10pm) to provide skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Idaho.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific information in English.
• Physical ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in geriatric long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, treatments, and IV lines.
• Record time spent on treatments per policy.
• Ensure proper storage and security of drugs and biologicals.
• Notify physician of adverse reactions or non-compliance with treatment plans.
• Keep medication cart, refrigerator, and rooms neat and organized.
• Assist in orientation and training of new nursing personnel.
• Practice infection control, universal precautions, and safety policies.
