Job summary

Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, AZ, seeks a dedicated Patient Care Assistant (CNA) for the Observation/Telemetry unit on the night shift. You will deliver routine patient care, monitor vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and document patient progress in the electronic medical record.

You will collaborate with nurses and physicians in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications include a CNA license, BLS, and 1 year of medical clerical or hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current CNA license in state of practice.
• 1 year of medical clerical or related hospital experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy and EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort on a busy telemetry unit.
• Collect specimens and vital signs; document in medical records.
• Assist with ADLs and maintain mobility and nutrition support.
• Communicate patient status to licensed staff and coordinate with caregivers.
• Support unit operations and ensure accurate patient data and charting.
• Assist with patient transport and room turnover as needed.
