Job summary

Banner Health seeks a Certified Patient Care Assistant for the Med/Surg team at Banner Ocotillo Medical Center in Chandler, AZ. This full‑time night position supports patient care on a telemetry/med/surg unit with 6pm–6:30am shifts and weekend rotations.

Responsibilities include daily living activities, data collection, charting, and collaboration with licensed staff to ensure safe, effective care. BLS and CNA in-state practice are required with hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA certification in state of practice required for new hires and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient comfort.
• Collect vital signs, input/output, and other data; document in medical records.
• Communicate patient status and changes to the care team.
