Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Woodwind’s Hospital in Woodbury, MN. This 0.7 FTE position involves 8-hour night shifts with an every other weekend rotation, providing essential support to the care team and patients in a telemetry/ICU setting.

You will perform routine patient care under the supervision of RNs, assist with admissions and transfers, monitor vital signs, and help maintain patient rooms and supplies.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Six months of direct care experience in long-term, home care or acute care settings.
• Enrollment in an LPN/RN/NP program or MN NA Registry at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care in collaboration with the nurse.
• Assist with patient transport, room setup, and supply stocking.
• Record patient data (weights, BPs, I/O) and report to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharge procedures.
• Orient patients and families to the care environment.

Skills

Basic Life Support certification

Education

Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry (active or enrollment)
