Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Nursing Station Technician/Monitor Tech for St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN. The role involves 56 hours per two weeks on the night shift, eight-hour shifts, with every other weekend rotation.

The NST functions under nursing direction, performing patient care duties, monitor observation, and coordination of unit activities to ensure high-quality patient care. Ideal candidates have at least six months of direct care experience, EKG monitoring

Qualifications

• Six months of direct care experience in a long-term, acute care, or similar setting.
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
• HUC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe cardiac monitors and report abnormalities.
• Provide patient care tasks including vitals, bathing, feeding and transport.
• Maintain unit documentation, charge communications and environmental cleanliness.
