Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission of patients to the unit and orient them to the unit and equipment.
• Respond to patient needs and report changes in condition.
• Carry out delegated care tasks as part of the nursing plan of care.
• Maintain patient safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Access to medication/supply room to retrieve patient care items.
• Keep unit clean and stocked; support cost containment and billing accuracy.
• Participate in educational and Performance Improvement activities.
• Perform unit-specific skills and basic waived testing as competency allows.
