Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Current registration with North Carolina Division of Facility Services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission of patients to the unit and orient them to the unit and routines.
• Respond to patient needs with direct assistance or by reporting needs to staff.
• Carry out delegated patient care tasks as part of the nursing plan of care.
• Maintain patient safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Keep the patient environment clean and well-stocked.
• Contribute to cost containment and accurate charging for services.
• Participate in educational and Performance Improvement activities.
• Perform waived testing per unit competency.
• Support HIP initiatives and overall hospital operations.
