Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / STNA to join our dedicated nursing team.

Under licensed supervision, you will provide hands-on care, support residents' daily needs, document care activities, and help maintain a safe, respectful, homelike environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold current and valid CNA or STNA certification for Ohio.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Good physical strength and endurance for fast-paced care.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Attention to detail and knowledge of patient care policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and repositioning.
• Assist residents with meals and hydration, ensuring nutritional needs are met throughout each shift.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and daily log updates.
• Keep rooms clean, organized, and safe, while promoting a homelike environment.
• Support residents' rights by treating all individuals with kindness, dignity, and respect.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Nursing or supervisory staff.

Position Summary

As a vital member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional care and support for our residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, while growing in a positive, team-focused environment.
