Job summary

Elkton Opco, LLC in Elkton, KY is seeking a State Tested Nurse Assistant (SRNA/STNA/CNA) to deliver compassionate personal care in accordance with residents' preferences and care plans.

You will assist with daily living activities, respond to call lights, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment. Prior LTC CNA experience is valued; training and standing in state registry are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience or equivalent.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs and ensures call lights are within reach of resident.
• Ensures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
• Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.
• Explains procedures to residents.
• Assists residents as necessary in their activities of daily living.
• Additional duties as assigned.
