Job summary

Nicholasville Nursing & Rehab seeks a SRNA/CNA to join our care team on the night shift, providing direct hands-on nursing care to residents and supporting daily living activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, responding to call lights, transporting residents, reporting findings, and maintaining safety and infection control while upholding residents’ privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be certified and state tested as a State Registered Nurse Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to call lights to ensure comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair within the facility.
• Report significant findings to the nurse immediately.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge to ensure smooth transitions.
• Safekeep residents' personal possessions.
• Maintain neat and safe resident rooms.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Respect residents' privacy and confidentiality.
• Re-teach ADL skills as needed.
• Provide restorative care to prevent pressure sores and complications.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement and ensure follow-up.
