Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician to join the on-site team on the 24-hour night shift. You will work under the RN to provide essential patient care, monitor vitals, perform routine tasks, and assist with procedures like EKGs and glucose checks.

Experience as a CNA or nursing student with clinical rotations is preferred. The role emphasizes patient safety, infection control, and teamwork within a busy hospital unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Student with clinical rotation.
• Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN supervision.
• Perform basic patient care tasks (bathing, grooming, feeding, transfers).
• Take vital signs and monitor patient condition as directed.
• Administer basic nursing procedures (EKGs, glucose monitoring) under supervision.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.
• Respond to patient call lights and urgent needs promptly.
