Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant (NA) at our Pipestone, MN facility to provide resident-centered care under RN supervision. You’ll assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support nutrition and hydration needs while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient comfort, and quality care in a long-term care setting with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16 with CNA certification.
• CNA certification required with state board.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, and daily activities.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and ROM exercises and monitor vital signs.
