Job summary

Good Samaritan in Pipestone, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will work under an RN to assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and basic health support, while following infection control policies.

Qualifications

• GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification required; facility provides training/certification.
• 12 hours yearly continuing education; maintain required certifications.
• UAP Registry if applicable in state.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver with MVR and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, meals, bathing, grooming, and mobility.
• Document resident interactions, communicate changes to charge nurse, and support wellness programs.
