Job summary

Rainbow Health Care Community is hiring for FT & PRN Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) in Oklahoma. The facility offers a night shift (10pm-6am, Wed-Sun), a $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time staff, and a starting pay of $17 per hour.

Full-time employees receive PTO after 30 days and other benefits including holidays with premium pay and education reimbursement. The role covers basic resident care, assistance with daily activities, and reporting to the nursing team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Valid CNA certification in Oklahoma.
• Six months experience in long-term care preferred.
• Maintain a working email and phone for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, hygiene, bathing, and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist with feeding.
• Assist with range of motion exercises.
• Provide for personal care and comfort.
• Move residents to wheelchairs or activity areas.
• Assist ambulation for short distance.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Provide direct and indirect resident care.
• Meet communication needs of resident and family.
• Communicate changes to nursing team.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
