Job summary

Rainbow Health Care Community in Oklahoma is seeking Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) for FT & PRN openings. Night shifts 10pm-6am (W-Su) and a $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time staff.

Starting pay is $17/hour, with benefits including PTO after 30 days and a 401(k) with company match. As a CNA you will assist residents with grooming, feeding, ROM exercises, vital signs, and daily personal care while maintaining compassionate communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Oklahoma
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises
• Provides for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in center
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents' clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned
