Job summary
Normandy Nursing Center in Missouri seeks compassionate CNAs for night shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with weekend work every other weekend. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and communicating changes to the nursing
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Must pass a state-issued exam.
- Valid Missouri CNA certification is required.
- Six months LTC experience preferred.
- Ability to react quickly in emergencies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
Responsibilities
- Answer signal lights/bells to determine resident needs.
- Assist residents with grooming, bathing, incontinence care and oral hygiene.
- Assist with feeding and feeding trays as needed.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises and positioning.
- Provide personal care and comfort to residents.
- Assist residents with mobility and ambulation.
- Take and record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
- Communicate changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
