Job summary

Great River Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic resident care during the overnight shift, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, delivering resident-centered care and assistance with daily living activities.

The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and requires an active CNA license. Schedule is 10:00pm–6:30am with every other weekend and holiday. Strong communication and teamwork are essential. Previous medical field experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the medical field.
• Provides resident comfort by answering call lights and attending to needs promptly.
• Knowledge of customer and personal services principles.
• Ability to listen, understand and respond to patients and team members.
• Critical thinking and problem solving to improve care.
• Teamwork and communicating clearly with patients and staff.
• Ability to lift and move patients or objects as needed.
• Familiar with HIPAA and patient rights.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic resident care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Delivers resident-centered personal care and activities of daily living.
• Ensures quality of care by following the care plan and assessment results.
