Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant for the Progressive Care Unit. The role involves assisting with ADLs, charting, EKGs, and supporting the nursing team on a 3‑12s night shift (6:00pm–6:30am). BLS and CNA in-state practice are required, with a $5,000 sign-on available for a 12‑month commitment.

New graduates welcome; room for growth in a fast-paced, critical care environment. Clinic references and EKG training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA in state of practice is required for new hires and transfers.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience or customer service preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL assistance to promote patient comfort and mobility.
• Record vital signs and collect data per unit policy; assist in specimen transport.
• Report health status changes to licensed professionals.
• Assist with procedures including EKGs and monitoring under supervision.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain and file patient records, ensure chart accessibility and filing.
• Manage supplies; order and track equipment and materials.
• Assist with patient transport and unit turnover as needed.
• Interact with staff, patients, families, and physicians professionally.
