Heywood Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Nurse Aide (CNA) for 32-hour night shifts (11:00pm - 7:30am), four nights a week, with every other weekend and holidays.

The pay range is $18.50–$28.28 for Nurse Aide and $20.00–$30.00 for CNA, reflecting experience and internal equity. The CNA role involves patient care, environmental and food service duties, with emphasis on safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma preferred
• CPR certification (AHA) required within 60 days of hire
• MOAB class required within 60 days of hire
• Licenses: CNA certification or equivalent; EMT/Paramedic or Patient Care Technician/Assistant or Home Health Aide certification; Nurse Aide program completion; MA CNA licensure (out-of-state acceptable)
• Minimum Work Experience: 1 year in a long term care facility; Med/Surg experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care based on standards of care, protocols and policies under direction of a licensed nurse
• Collects basic health data as directed by a licensed nurse
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, toileting, nutrition, ambulation)
• Maintains clean and safe work environment and documents care and vitals
• Communicates effectively with supervising nurse and health care team
• Participates in learning and orientation of new staff
• Identifies risks to patient safety and helps reduce errors
• Assists with room preparation and meal service; contributes to infection control

Certified Nursing Assistant certification

Home Health Aide Certification

Nurse Aide program completion

Massachusetts CNA licensure
