Job summary

Heywood Healthcare is hiring CNAs / Nurse Aides for night shifts (11:00pm - 7:30am), 32 hours per week, four nights a week with every other weekend and holiday. The posted wage ranges from $18.50–$28.28 for NAs and $20.00–$30.00 for CNAs, with compensation determined by experience and internal equity.

The role involves patient care, basic health data collection, activities of daily living assistance, and collaboration with licensed nurses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• AHA/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• MOAB class required within 60 days of hire.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Completion of a Nurse Aide program or equivalent.
• MA CNA licensure or out-of-state equivalent acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under direction of a licensed nurse.
• Collects basic health data as directed.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, toileting, nutrition, ambulation).
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient information.
• Keeps work environment clean and safe.
• Reports important patient information to nursing staff.
• Participates in ongoing staff education and orientation.
