Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide basic patient care on our 800 Neuro-Ortho unit during the night shift. You will work under the supervision of nursing staff to take vitals, assist with activities of daily living, and report patient condition changes.

Our Level I Stroke and Trauma Center fosters teamwork and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment. Experience in patient care is preferred; BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior patient care or health care related experience preferred.
• BLS within 90 days is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, and change linens.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
