Job summary

CoxHealth South is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant or Nurse Assistant Trainee to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision during the 6:30 PM–7:00 AM night shift. You will assist with vitals, bathing, dressing, mobility, and linen changes, while communicating patient condition changes to the team.

Qualifications

• Education Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience Preferred: Prior patient care or health care related experience
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible: Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS must be obtained within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens and other duties as assigned.
• Reports any changes in patient condition to nursing staff or clinical educator.
