Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO, is seeking a Night Shift Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision on our 800 Neuro-Ortho unit. Responsibilities include vitals, mobility, hygiene, and linen changes in a fast-paced stroke/trauma care setting.

The role offers opportunities for professional growth, a career ladder to certified nurse assistant tracks, and a 3-dollar per hour shift differential. Prior patient care experience and MO CNA licensure are valued.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior patient care or health care related experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS must be obtained within 90 days; Certified Nurse Assistant/Nurse Assistant certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Perform duties such as taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, changing linens, and other duties as assigned.
• Obtain information on patient condition as requested by nursing staff and report changes promptly.
