Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide basic patient care and support under nursing supervision on a 36-hour weekly night shift. The 200 Medical-Surgical unit cares for a broad age range and emphasizes teamwork and professional development.

Applicants should have MO CNA licensure (or within 120 days), BLS within 90 days, and prior patient care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Prior patient care or health care related experience preferred.
• Missouri CNA license or license within 120 days of hire; BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
• Take vitals, assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, and linen changes.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Support unit operations and contribute to patient comfort and safety.
