Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant/Nurse Assistant (Night Shift) for the 900 E South unit in Springfield, MO. You will perform basic patient care under nursing supervision, take vitals, assist with activities of daily living, and report patient condition changes.

A 30-bed unit with bariatric specialization supports a collaborative care model. The role requires MO CNA licensure or eligibility, BLS within 90 days, and prior patient care experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• 3 months experience as a nursing assistant or equivalent in healthcare settings.
• Completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel program within the past 3 years.
• MO CNA license required or eligible and obtain within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision and report changes in patient condition.
• Take vitals, assist with daily living activities, and help with mobility and transfers.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
