Job summary

Regions Hospital in Minnesota is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant for the Orthopedic/General Surgery Unit to assist with ADLs, take vitals, and document care in our electronic health record. The 28-hour per week schedule runs evenings (3pm-11:30pm) with every other weekend and holiday included.

Required qualifications include CNA training within the last five years or MN CNA Registry certification, plus 6 months of acute/long-term care or ER tech experience in the last five years and

Qualifications

• Completion of a CNA training program within the last five years.
• Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• 6 months of acute or long-term care setting as a Nursing Assistant or ER Technician within the last five years.
• Completion of one clinical rotation in an RN/LPN program within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide patient care tasks including IV discontinuation, restraint monitoring, and vitals collection.
• Document and chart in the electronic health system.
