Job summary

Cox Monett Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. You will take vitals, assist with hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities, and report any changes in patient condition to the team.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and MO CNA license or eligibility within the specified timeframe. Evening/night shifts and a 36-hour week are offered at Cox Monett Hospital.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 months experience as a nursing assistant in inpatient/long-term care OR completion of a qualifying nursing program OR MO CNA license/appendix with license within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing staff direction, including taking vitals, bathing, dressing and moving patients.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with changing linens and other assigned duties.
