Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO, seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under nursing direction. Duties include vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, changing linens, and reporting condition changes.

Requirements include High School Diploma or equivalent, 3 months of NA experience or NA program completion; MO CNA license (or license within 120 days) and BLS within 90 days. CoxHealth offers comprehensive benefits and a 5:30am-2:00pm day shift.

Qualifications

• Education Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience Required: 3 months as a nursing assistant in inpatient or long-term care OR completion of NA program OR completion of fundamentals of nursing course with clinical
• MO CNA license OR MO CNA Appendix; license must be obtained within 120 days of hire
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff; take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens and related duties.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff as requested
