Allina Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist with direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. duties include feeding, bathing, grooming, and helping with mobility, daily activities, and comfort measures on a 12-hour night shift for a 0.6 FTE schedule.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork within a not-for-profit health system serving Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Must complete CNA program or equivalent clinical rotations.
• Minimum age 18 (17 with diploma) where applicable.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross, or in-house training within 30 days of hire.
• Direct patient care experience preferred.
• Able to perform personal care and assist with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care/interventions as assigned.
• Observe and document vital signs and health status data.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, ROM and positioning.
• Support safe patient handling and fall prevention.
• Assist RN with admissions, transfers and discharge.
