Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine personal care under RN/LPN supervision on the third shift. You will maintain a safe environment, report problems, and support patient-focused care at Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center.

Experienced CNAs may precept new staff during orientation. Required: Virginia/Nursing Aide registry, BLS Healthcare Provider, and a Virginia/West Virginia CNA listing as locations vary by site.

Qualifications

Understand basic principles of human growth and development.
Able to interact with patients according to age and needs.
Reliable means of hospital communication by phone.
Flu vaccination required for employment.

Responsibilities

Provide routine personal care to patients under RN/LPN supervision.
Maintain a safe patient environment and report problems.
Support mission and vision of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center.
Act as a preceptor in orientation of new CNAs when experienced.
