Valley Health in Winchester, VA, seeks a Certified Nurse Aide to support patient care in our rehab and hospital centers. The CNA provides routine personal care under a RN/LPN, ensures safety, and reports issues to the care team.

With experience, you may precept new CNAs during orientation. Preferred candidates hold a High School Diploma or equivalent and are listed on the VA/ WV CNA registry; BLS certification is required before orientation completes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be listed on the VA/WV CNA registry.
• BLS Certification (AHA) required prior to orientation completion.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine personal care duties for patients under RN/LPN supervision.
• Maintains a safe environment and reports problems.
• May act as a preceptor in orientation for new CNAs after experience.

Education

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) registry in Virginia/West Virginia

BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
