Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan Chelsea Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the Chelsea, MI location. This part-time role covers 12-hour night shifts in the Nursing Resource Pool, offering flexible scheduling and orientation to our equipment and procedures.

Under RN direction, the PCA delivers direct patient care, helps with ADLs, and ensures a clean, safe environment while documenting patient information as required. Training is provided to ensure success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or minimum age 18.
• Recent hospital inpatient patient care experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ADLs: bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation with devices and feeding.
• Record patient information and required data for documentation.
• Float pool duties; flexible scheduling within Chelsea hospital.
• Support environment to ensure patient/family wellbeing and safe care.
