Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA in state of practice required for new hires.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and contribute to the overall plan of care.
• Collect patient data including vital signs, intake/output, and documentation in medical records.
• Communicate patient status and needs to physicians, nurses, and other staff.
• Perform procedures and use equipment under supervision (e.g., blood draws, basic EKG monitoring).
• Support receptionist/clerical duties to maintain efficient department operations.
• Maintain complete patient records and ensure charts are accurate and accessible.
