Job summary

Great River Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for a part-time role in West Burlington, IA. The position involves 24 hours per week with a night schedule and alternating weekend/holiday rotations, under direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

The CNA will provide personal care, observe residents, assist with activities of daily living, and support mobility, meals, and safety within the care plan. CNA license and registry requirements apply.

Qualifications

• CNA license required upon hire.
• Experience in medical field preferred.
• Must be listed on Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry.
• EFRC certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming.
• Assist with physician appointments and end-of-life care.
• Take and document vital signs; observe changes and report to nurse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using lifts and equipment.
• Assist with meals and monitor intake; encourage feeding.
• Address spills and maintain cleanliness in resident areas.
