Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Nurse aide training and competency evaluation approved by the State within 4 months of hire; or equivalent with no break in service of 24 months or longer.
• Verification from the State Nurse Aide Registry regarding abuse, neglect or misappropriation of resident's property.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care duties such as bathing, feeding and ADLs. Responds promptly to patient needs.
• Makes beds and distributes nourishments, maintaining an orderly environment.
• Maintains patients' personal and oral hygiene.
• Provides direct care to residents per their plan of care.
• Assists with planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans and documents FYI records.
• Follows infection control policies and uses PPE as required.
