Job summary

Pine Haven Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate CNA for the 11:00 PM-7:00 AM night shift to provide direct resident care in a nursing home setting.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, and collaborate with nurses and staff to ensure safety and comfort. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, and a strong team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff.

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and other personal-care needs.
• Assist residents with meals, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident requests.
• Assist residents with walking, transfers, repositioning, and use of mobility equipment.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to the nurse.
• Provide incontinence care and maintain residents' cleanliness and comfort.
• Assist residents with their evening and bedtime routines.
• Make beds and maintain clean, orderly resident rooms and common areas.
• Document care provided accurately according to facility procedures.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition.
• Treat every resident with dignity, respect, patience, and compassion.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with nurses, CNAs, dietary staff, housekeeping, and other members of the care team.
• Protect residents' privacy and confidentiality at all times.
