Qualifications

• Current Michigan CNA certification, or ability to obtain within four months of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiving or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and team members to provide exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, mobility, and other personal care needs while maintaining dignity.
• Develop meaningful relationships with residents and families, learning what matters most to them.
• Observe residents closely and report important information to the nursing team.
• Support resident comfort with prompt call-light response, appointments, and activities.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable environment through light housekeeping, laundry, and meal support.
