Job summary

Wellspring Lutheran Services in Frankenmuth, MI seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities and personal care. You’ll help with bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, and comfort, while maintaining dignity and independence.

You’ll work as part of a caring team, monitor residents’ well-being, respond to call lights, assist with therapies and activities, and help create a warm, safe environment where every resident feels heard and valued.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan CNA certification, or ability to obtain within four months of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiving or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and daily living activities.
• Support mobility, dining, toileting and other personal care needs while preserving dignity.
• Observe and communicate resident changes to the nursing team for quality care.
• Answer call lights promptly and support appointments and activities.
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment including light housekeeping and laundry.
• Participate in admissions and transitions, welcoming new residents and families.

What Your Impact Will Look Like

You’ll help residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, mobility, and other personal care needs while protecting their dignity and independence. You’ll develop meaningful relationships with residents and families, learning what matters most to them and helping create a positive experience every day. You’ll notice the small changes that can make a big difference, observing residents closely and communicating important information to the nursing team. You’ll support resident comfort by answering call lights promptly, assisting with appointments and activities, and ensuring residents feel safe, heard, and cared for. You’ll help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment through light housekeeping, laundry services, meal support, and other tasks that contribute to residents’ overall well-being. You’ll participate in admissions and transitions, helping new residents and families feel welcomed and supported as they begin their journey with us. Some days you’ll be helping a resident prepare for therapy. Other days you’ll be sharing stories over a meal, celebrating progress with a family member, or providing comfort after a difficult day. Every day, your kindness, patience, and compassion will matter.
