Job summary

Wellspring Skilled Nursing & Rehab – Fairview is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide daily care and companionship to residents who rely on your support. As a CNA, you’ll assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily routines while ensuring each resident is treated with dignity and respect.

You’ll observe changes, communicate with the nursing team, and help implement each resident’s individualized plan of care on a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous long‑term care experience preferred.

What Your Impact Will Look Like

You’ll provide hands‑on support with daily activities while helping residents maintain as much independence as possible. You’ll assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily routines while ensuring every resident is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. You’ll become a familiar and trusted presence in residents' lives, building relationships that help them feel seen, valued, and supported. You’ll observe changes in condition, communicate important information to the nursing team, and help ensure residents receive timely care and attention. You’ll assist residents in participating in activities, appointments, meals, worship opportunities, and social events that contribute to a fulfilling daily experience. You’ll work alongside nurses, therapists, and other members of the care team to support each resident’s individualized plan of care. Some days you’ll help a resident regain confidence after an illness. Other days you’ll offer encouragement during therapy, celebrate a birthday, listen to a life story, or simply brighten someone’s day with your presence. Every day, your care has a direct impact on a resident’s comfort, confidence, and quality of life.

Schedule

Full‑time Day Shift (5:30 am - 5:30 pm) or Night Shift (5:30 pm - 5:30 am) Rotating weekends and holidays required.
