Job summary

Holy Family Medical Center- LTACH is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for a full-time night shift to support patients with daily living activities and basic nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The role requires maintaining a safe environment and delivering compassionate care to patients in a high-acuity setting.

Qualified candidates will have a phlebotomy and EKG background, BLS, and a CNA certification per facility requirements.

Qualifications

• Current phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Current EKG certification preferred.
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• CNA certification required per facility standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care.
• Maintains a safe environment under supervision of the RN in charge of the team.
