Job summary

Prisma Health LTACH - Baptist is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the Registered Nurse in meeting basic patient needs. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, document data, and respond to calls on the night shift.

Responsibilities include basic wound care, data collection, and following RN instructions for delegated tasks. CNA certification is required or accepted at hire; prior experience is not necessary.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program.
• No prior experience required.
• CNA certification accepted at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and turns/repositions patients.
• Collects vital signs and fluid intake/output; documents in medical record.
• Performs delegated care by the RN (dressings, perineal care).
• Performs point-of-care testing as trained and reports results.
• Responds to call lights and assists with patient transport.
