Job summary

HMG Healthcare is seeking a Night Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care, monitor patients, and support nursing staff during overnight hours. You will assist with daily living activities and respond to changes in patient conditions with empathy and professionalism.

The role requires a valid CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screening. CPR/First Aid and prior night-shift experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification as required by the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of patient care and safety protocols.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Physical ability to perform patient care tasks including lifting and moving patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living during the night shift.
• Monitor and record vital signs; report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Ensure patient safety by regular checks and maintaining a clean environment.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team to implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities per regulations.
• Assist with preparation and transfer of patients for diagnostic tests or treatments.
