Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification with the State Board or in process of obtaining certification.
• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Continuing education credits: minimum 12 hours annually.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and mobility.
• Obtain and record vital signs and provide psychosocial support as needed.
• Support transfer, repositioning and walking using proper techniques and equipment.
• Assist with meals and nutritional needs, provide hydration and monitor intake.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes; communicate changes to RN.
• Participate in housekeeping, laundry and wellness activities; maintain clean living areas.
