Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Reno, NV, is expanding its adult behavioral health services and is seeking a CNA for per diem night shifts. The new program will provide care for adults 18 and older in a 24-hour, secure setting.

The department operates with a multidisciplinary team and focuses on individualized care plans, while CNAs support the care team with bedside reports, delegation, and patient-family needs. A Nevada CNA license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program.
• Current Nevada C.N.A. license.
• Current BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited CNA program

Current Nevada C.N.A. license

Current BLS certificate
