Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician / CNA for the Norcliffe Foundation Behavioral Health Unit. The 14-bed unit operates with a 0.7 FTE (56 hours per two-week pay period) on 8-hour night shifts, providing expert care in a welcoming, patient-centered environment.

Eligible candidates must complete a CNA program, hold NA-C, MA-R post hire sponsorship, and BLS certification; one year of healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent nursing training.
• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required.
• Medical Assistant Registration (MA-R) required post hire (sponsorship available).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity preferred.
• Excellent customer service and oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision in the Behavioral Health unit.
• Assist licensed staff with patient care and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient needs clearly.
