Christus Health in Alexandria, LA seeks a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support bedside care under RN supervision. You will assist with patient care, admit/discharge support, and help maintain a safe, clean environment on the unit during the 7PM–7AM shift.

This role emphasizes diligent documentation, stock maintenance, swift communication with the nursing team, and compassionate, patient-focused service. CNA license and BLS are required, with acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA license required in state of employment.
• BLS certification required.
• Acute care patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Prepare rooms for admission by setting up supplies and adjusting beds.
• Safely transport stable patients as required.
• Maintain unit supplies and equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and patient calls.
• Document patient information accurately.
• Communicate effectively with the nursing team across shifts.
• Support licensed personnel to maintain a safe, comfortable environment.
